About the Event
The parade goes along King Carter Drive from the starting field on Wilshin Drive to Tavern Road at the Commons. This is a time honored Irvington event honoring local standout community members and patriotic fun on display.
Sign up for the parade and decorate vintage cars, golf carts, bicycles, even dress up your pets in red, white, and blue
Welcome Participants:
• Walking Groups and Bicycles
• Bands and musicians
• Golf Carts
• Antique Cars
• Business and Organization floats
• Police, Fire, and Public Safety Vehicles
• Honored Guests: VIA Volunteer of the Year, The IVBA Business Person of the Year, The Chesapeake Academy All Star, and Local Hometown Hero
Guidelines:
• No political party or candidate floats/signs. This is a non political event.
• Participants must submit via form to participate in event.
• TBD car show display following, so please no parking on the Commons.
• All pets must be leashed and owners are responsible for waste pickup.
• Get really into decorating vehicles/bikes/pets to be part of the event!
• Have a great time and invite friends and family to watch and wave!
